A typical rotation

Day by day on the ground

  1. Day 1

    Travel & arrival in Managua

Long travel day with connections. Arrive late and stay the first night near the airport for a proper rest — and a first look at the capital.

  2. Day 2

    Daylight drive to the lake

Hand-off with the outgoing team, then a daytime drive to the San Jorge / Rivas area near Lake Nicaragua so the team can take in the landscape.

  3. Days 3–11

    On the work site

Hands-on service at the Southern Nicaragua District Center — construction, teaching, worship, and children’s ministry alongside local believers. The team stays together on one project.

  4. Non-work days

    Visiting the wider church

Where the schedule allows, visit other churches and Christian ministries in the area to encourage and be encouraged.

  5. Day 12

    Return to Managua

Drive back toward the capital, overlapping one night with the incoming team to pass along everything learned on the ground.

  6. Day 13

    Fly home

Depart Managua for the long journey home, full of stories.

Detailed ground-team scheduling is still being finalized and may vary by team.
